Modern contemporary homes
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Bargur · Anthiyur taluk, Erode district
Houses, cattle sheds and public buildings in the Bargur hills above Anthiyur — where the slope, the forest line and the land record decide what can be built.

First, which Bargur. This page is about Bargur in the hills of Anthiyur taluk, Erode district — Burgur in the block and panchayat records — reached by the Anthiyur–Kollegal hill road and sharing Anthiyur's 638501 PIN code. It is not Bargur in Krishnagiri district, the far better-known taluk town on the Bengaluru highway. If your plot is there, a Krishnagiri builder will serve you better.
The Bargur hills stand at roughly 850 to 1,000 metres on the Karnataka side of the district, and the revenue village is a large one — fifty-five square kilometres and over seventeen thousand people at the 2011 census, in hamlets of Lingayat, Soliga and Malayali families surrounded by reserve forest. Bargur cattle take their name from here, and TANUVAS runs its Bargur Cattle Research Station in the panchayat. The work is houses, cattle sheds, school and anganwadi blocks, water tanks and the roads to reach them.
What we build here
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Schools, colleges, hospitals and public offices — built to code, to the academic or clinical calendar, and to take daily crowds for decades.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Roads, drains, retaining walls and full site development — the groundwork every other trade stands on, laid to survive a monsoon and the traffic after it.
Local conditions
The hamlets here sit inside the North and South Bargur reserve forests, which since 2023 fall under the Thanthai Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. A plot that touches the forest boundary, or that the record shows as forest, poramboke or settlement land rather than patta land, may not be buildable at all, whatever the sale paper says. We check the survey number and the classification before a single line is drawn.
On a hillside the footing is stepped, the cut face needs a retaining wall before the monsoon, and the floor is set so that run-off goes round the house and not through it. The access track has to carry a loaded lorry up a gradient in the rain. All of that is in the drawing and the estimate from the start, because retrofitting a retaining wall is the most expensive wall there is.
Bargur is about fifty kilometres from Bhavani and seventy from Erode, and the last stretch is a hill road. We plan deliveries so that aggregate, steel, the mixer and the crew arrive on the same trip, and we time the supervisor's visits to footing, column and slab, because a wasted trip here costs a day.
Questions
Bargur in the hills of Anthiyur taluk, Erode district — spelled Burgur in the block and panchayat records — reached by the Anthiyur–Kollegal road. It is not Bargur in Krishnagiri district, and we do not work there.
Yes. Farm and industrial sheds are one of our eight building types. Tell us the herd, the slope of the plot and how water reaches it, and the floor falls, drainage, ventilation and roof are designed for that.
The village panchayat the hamlet belongs to — Burgur or Kuttaiyur — within Anthiyur taluk, after the land classification and any forest-boundary question are settled. We check those first, then prepare the drawings and carry the file.
