Modern contemporary homes
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Mecheri · Mettur taluk, Salem district
Houses, highway frontages and farm buildings in the sheep town on the Salem–Mettur road — built by a firm that puts its own supervisor on the site.

Mecheri — Mechari on the district's list of town panchayats, Mechery on some signboards — is a town panchayat of eighteen wards in Mettur taluk, Salem district, PIN 636453. It sits on the Salem–Mettur highway, roughly twenty-one kilometres from Mettur and thirty-four from Salem, and it is the headquarters of Mecheri block, which takes in villages such as Koonandiyur.
The town gave its name to the Mecheri sheep, and the Mecheri Sheep Research Station has been at Pottaneri on the highway since 1978. Farming and livestock still employ most people, so alongside the family house and the shop on the highway we are asked for sheep and cattle sheds, godowns for feed and produce, and the sump and tank that serve both the house and the animals.
What we build here
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Showrooms, offices and retail blocks planned for footfall, daylight and a fast fit-out, so the space starts earning from the day it opens.
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Independent villas on your own plot or inside a gated layout, with generous rooms, private outdoor space and finishes chosen to outlast fashion.
Local conditions
A plot on the highway is where the shop, the showroom or the shop-with-house goes, and the setback is measured from the road boundary, which a widening can move. Access from the carriageway and parking shape the building as much as the plot does. We check the frontage conditions before the plan is drawn, so the shop front is not the part that gets cut back later.
A shed for a Mecheri flock needs a floor that drains and can be washed, a roof that clears the heat, ventilation that does not become a draught, and a layout for feeding and handling the animals. Built properly it keeps the flock healthy; built as four posts and a sheet, it does not. We design it with the house and put both on one approval file.
Inside the eighteen wards the plan goes to Mecheri Town Panchayat. A plot a few kilometres out is a village panchayat file in Mecheri block, and many of those plots are still classified as agricultural, with a patta in an older name. We confirm the body and the classification from your survey number before any drawing is issued.
Questions
Yes. The district lists the town panchayat as Mechari and some signboards read Mechery; Mecheri is how most people write it. It is the same town on the Salem–Mettur highway, and we build there.
Yes. Farm sheds are one of our eight building types. Tell us the size of the flock and how it is handled and the floor, drainage, roof and ventilation are designed for that, on the same contract as the house.
Yes — shops, showrooms and shop-with-house buildings with the setback, parking and access worked out before the plan is drawn.
