Modern contemporary homes
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Koonandiyur · Mettur taluk, Salem district
Houses and farm buildings in a village panchayat of Mecheri block — twenty kilometres from Mettur, with the approach road built before the house.

Koonandiyur is a village and gram panchayat in Mecheri block, Mettur taluk, Salem district, in the 636458 PIN code with a post office of its own. The 2011 census counted about four thousand people in a little over a thousand households on nine square kilometres. Mecheri is the nearest town, Mecheri Road is the nearest railway station, and Mettur is about twenty kilometres away, Salem about forty-eight.
It is farming and livestock country, in the block that gave the Mecheri sheep its name, and the building work follows: a family house on land the family has held for a long time, with a sheep or cattle shed, a borewell and tank, and a compound wall and approach that a loaded lorry can use in the rain. We take all of that on one contract.
What we build here
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Independent villas on your own plot or inside a gated layout, with generous rooms, private outdoor space and finishes chosen to outlast fashion.
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Roads, drains, retaining walls and full site development — the groundwork every other trade stands on, laid to survive a monsoon and the traffic after it.
Local conditions
Koonandiyur is a gram panchayat, so the building permission runs through the Koonandiyur village panchayat, not through Mecheri Town Panchayat a few kilometres down the road. A plot carved out of a larger piece of land also needs a DTCP-approved layout behind it. We check both before a drawing is issued, because finding a gap at the end is what stalls a bank loan.
A plot that has been in the family for decades often has a patta in an older name, a survey number that has been sub-divided, or a classification that still reads as agricultural. None of that stops a house, but each one has to be settled before plan approval, and we tell you which ones apply on the first visit.
A village plot off the all-weather road often needs a compound wall, a gate and a site road that a loaded lorry can use after rain. Doing that groundwork first means the house is built on a dry site, materials arrive on time, and twenty kilometres from Mettur a missed delivery costs a day rather than an hour.
Questions
Yes. Koonandiyur and the villages of Mecheri block are inside our working area, and the site gets our own supervisor at every structural stage, the same as a job in Mettur or Komarapalayam.
The Koonandiyur gram panchayat within Mettur taluk, with a DTCP-approved layout needed where a plot has been divided out of a larger piece of land. We prepare and carry both files.
Yes. Farm sheds, water infrastructure and road and civil work are three of our eight building types, so the shed, the tank, the wall and the approach road go on the same contract as the house.
