Poultry · Namakkal district
Layer and broiler sheds built to the system you are running — because ventilation geometry is not a detail you fix later.

Namakkal produces a very large share of India's eggs, and a poultry shed here is a production asset rather than a farm building. Its geometry decides the airflow, the airflow decides the bird environment, and the bird environment decides the return on every day of the shed's life. That is a structural problem before it is an agricultural one.
We build them as engineered structures: span and ridge height set by the ventilation system, floor falls and drainage set by the cleaning regime, and the whole thing detailed so it can be washed down hard for twenty years without falling apart.
What we build here
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Roads, drains, retaining walls and full site development — the groundwork every other trade stands on, laid to survive a monsoon and the traffic after it.
Local conditions
Open-sided, tunnel-ventilated and environmentally controlled sheds are three different structures — different spans, different ridge heights, different opening geometry and different tolerances on how well the envelope seals. Tell us the system and the bird count before anything is drawn.
Inlet position, cross-section along the length, ridge or fan-end geometry: these are decided when the frame is designed and they are effectively fixed for the life of the shed. This is the single most common thing we are called in to fix on somebody else's building, and it is usually not economically fixable.
Falls, channels, a drainage route and a slab surface that survives repeated wash-down and disinfection. A domestic floor spec in a poultry shed starts breaking up within a couple of years, and it takes the biosecurity with it.
Much of the district has rock close to grade. It carries load well, so foundations are often shallower and cheaper than expected, but excavation costs more. Both go in the quote before you sign, not after the excavator arrives.
Questions
Both, and they are not the same building. Span, ridge height, ventilation geometry, floor detail and the cleaning regime differ, so we design to the system and the bird count you give us rather than to a standard drawing.
Usually yes — an additional shed on the same site, or a bay added to an existing run. Biosecurity sets the sequence and the access route more than the construction does, and we plan around it with you before we mobilise.
It depends on the length, the system and the ground, which is why we give a date only after seeing the site and the drawings — and once that date is given, it is the date we work to.
