Modern contemporary homes
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Kavindapadi · Erode district
Houses, shop frontages and jaggery godowns in a sugarcane town on the Erode–Sathyamangalam road — built by a firm that supervises its own sites.

Kavindapadi — Kavandapadi or Kavundapadi in the records, Kavindhapadi as many people write it — sits at the Four Roads junction on the Erode–Sathyamangalam road, about twenty-two kilometres from Erode and roughly midway between Bhavani and Gobichettipalayam, in the 638455 PIN code. In January 2025 the state upgraded it to a municipality by merging the Salangapalayam and P. Mettupalayam town panchayats with the Kavandapadi village panchayat.
It is a sugarcane town. The Saturday jaggery market has more than sixty godowns, Kavundapadi nattu sakkarai was given a Geographical Indication tag in December 2025, and the Wednesday weekly market is one of the biggest in the district. So the work here runs from a family house on a small budget to a shop at the junction, a jaggery godown or a shed — and we take all of it on one contract, drawings to handover.
What we build here
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Showrooms, offices and retail blocks planned for footfall, daylight and a fast fit-out, so the space starts earning from the day it opens.
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Apartment blocks and mixed-use towers taken up floor by floor, with the structural design, services routing and lift cores planned from day one.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Roads, drains, retaining walls and full site development — the groundwork every other trade stands on, laid to survive a monsoon and the traffic after it.
Local conditions
Until the 2025 ordinance, a plot here was a Kavandapadi village panchayat file, a Salangapalayam town panchayat file or a P. Mettupalayam one depending on which side of a line it fell. Now all three are one municipality, and the forms, fees and setback rules follow the municipal building rules rather than the village ones. We confirm which rules your survey number falls under today, not the ones your neighbour built to.
Sixty-odd godowns around the Saturday market tell you what the town stores. Jaggery and country sugar spoil in damp, so a godown needs a raised plinth, a continuous damp-proof course, a roof that does not sweat onto the stock, and a floor and door that take a loaded lorry. We design the godown for the product and the vehicle, not as a shed with a bigger door.
A shop or a shop-with-house at the junction sits on the Erode–Sathyamangalam road, and the setback is measured from the road boundary, which can move when a road is widened. We check the road line before the building line, so the frontage you pay for is the frontage you keep.
The sugarcane and banana land around the town is irrigated, so plots cut out of it often sit low and hold water after rain; the plinth level and the site drainage come from the plot levels, not from a standard drawing. The town also has handloom door-mat cooperatives, and a small loom or storage shed beside a house is a common ask — cheaper to design with the house than to add later.
Questions
Yes. Kavandapadi is the revenue-village and panchayat spelling, Kavundapadi is used for the GI-tagged jaggery, and Kavindhapadi is how many people write it. It is the same town at Four Roads on the Erode–Sathyamangalam road, and we build there.
Since the January 2025 ordinance, the new Kavindapadi municipality, which took in the Salangapalayam and P. Mettupalayam town panchayats and the Kavandapadi village panchayat. A plot in a new layout also needs a DTCP-approved layout behind it. We prepare the drawings, file the application and carry the inspections, and tell you where the file sits each week.
Yes. Storage and industrial sheds are one of our eight building types. Tell us what goes in it and how it arrives, and the plinth, floor, roof and door are designed for that — dry through the monsoon and strong enough for the lorry.
Both, and most of our work in a town this size is an individual house on a family plot. We design it for the plot and the budget, handle the approval, and build it with our own supervisor on site at every structural stage. A shop, a godown or a rental block gets the same treatment.
