Modern contemporary homes
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Suriyampalayam · Erode city
Houses and textile units at the north-west edge of Erode city — where the first thing to settle is which side of the corporation line the plot is on.

Suriyampalayam is the north-western corner of Erode City Municipal Corporation, on the Chithode side, in the 638102 PIN code it shares with Chithode. It was a town panchayat of its own — eighteen and a half square kilometres, fifteen wards, about twenty-eight thousand people at the 2011 census — until the corporation expansion of 2011, and it is now the headquarters of the corporation's Zone I. The Bhavani–Perundurai road runs through it and the city's bypass is close by.
The census listed cloth, leather goods and milk as the main things made here, and textile units are still a large part of what gets built: a weaving or processing shed, a godown, a small dyeing unit. Beside them are family houses on plots that were fields not long ago, and shops along the main road. We build all of it, and we know the difference between a corporation file and a Chithode town panchayat one.
What we build here
Clean lines, open plans and honest light — homes designed around how you actually live, in materials that still look new years after handover.
Factories, warehouses and workshops built around your process — long clear spans, heavy-duty floors and roofs sized for the loads they carry.
Showrooms, offices and retail blocks planned for footfall, daylight and a fast fit-out, so the space starts earning from the day it opens.
Overhead tanks, sumps, treatment plants and pipelines — watertight construction backed by the pressure testing and certification to prove it.
Local conditions
Suriyampalayam and Chithode share a postcode, and the corporation boundary runs through open country where nothing on the ground marks it. A plot inside the line files with Erode City Municipal Corporation at the Suriyampalayam zonal office; a plot outside it files with the town or village panchayat. We confirm it from the survey number before a drawing is issued, because lodging in the wrong office costs weeks.
A processing or dyeing unit here is judged by the pollution control inspection as much as by the building permission. Floor falls, drainage channels, an effluent route that can be shown to the inspector and a slab that takes constant vibration are what make the shed usable. We design around the machine layout and the process, and we say up front if the plot cannot carry the consent the unit needs.
Approvals, tax receipts and water connections from before 2011 are in the name of Suriyampalayam Town Panchayat. The new application goes to the corporation, and the two sets of papers have to agree on the survey number, the owner and the extent. We check them against each other before filing, not after the file is returned.
Questions
Part of the city. It was a town panchayat until 2011 and is now Zone I of Erode City Municipal Corporation, which approves building plans here. Plots on the far side of the boundary, towards Chithode, file elsewhere, and we check which applies to yours.
Yes. Industrial sheds are one of our eight building types and a large share of the work on this side of Erode. Tell us the machines and the process and the floor, drainage and roof are designed for them.
Yes, and we build more houses than sheds. A house on a single plot, planned to the family's budget, with the sump and overhead tank done properly. We do not publish a rate; the estimate is written against your plot and drawings.
